Things I Miss About Living in the Country

  1. Thunderstorms rumbling through the valley
  2. How green everything is after a lightning storm
  3. Coyotes howling outside my window
  4. The wonder of Springtime, finding things growing you didn’t know were there
  5. Harvest-time, tractors in the field, clouds of dust
  6. Hay-rack rides
  7. Blinding brightness after an ice storm
  8. Evergreens bowing under heavy snow
  9. Bird song choirs that never cease
  10. Woodpeckers
  11. Walks in the woods
  12. Creeks skipping by
  13. Next door neighbors a mile away
  14. Hummingbirds at my window
